We are nearing the end of the year and Spring is rapidly approaching, much to our excitement. Each season is a fantastic excuse to switch up your makeup, experiment with different colour tones and co-ordinate with the natural elements of your current environment. We associate Winter makeup with full-on hydrating skincare, fuller coverage base products, mauves and smokier tones. The warmer seasons are a great time to wear a lighter base, enhance a glow and wear brighter and bolder tones. Think warm tones like corals, pinks, burnt orange and peach. The overall effect should be an enhancement of your features, achieving a super flushed and glistening look, attained with a combination of brightening skincare products and makeup. To start with; we highly endorse spring cleaning your makeup collection, throw out the expired and unused and bring the lighter and brighter products forward to the front of your collection.
We recently collected an edit of Spring beauty products and new releases that are ideal for perfecting a fresh and vibrant look.
MAC Cosmetics 'See Sheer Lipstick

When we think of a Spring lipstick, this is the first product that comes to mind. MAC's 'See Sheer' lustre lipstick can be described as a warm coral with a natural sheer to build-able finish. We love it because it flatters so many skin tones, depending on your colouring it could be a bolder coral or a natural flush with a pink sheen.
Ole Henriksen Truth Serum

The Truth Serum by Ole Henriksen is regarded as one of the best vitamin C rich serums that money can buy. It smells strongly of orange and has a collagen-like texture when applied to the skin. When used over time it forces the skins complexion to be brighter and and firmer. This is a fantastic addition to your skincare routine as a way to improve your pre-makeup base and gradually improve your skin texture.
Too Faced Peach Collection

The newest Too Faced collection couldn't have arrived any sooner. The tones of the collection are reminiscent of Spring, bright peachy pink shades. We would gravitate towards the Peach Perfect Foundation and the Just Peachy Velvet Matte Eyeshadow Palette as they are the standouts of this collection. The brand as a whole feels really youthful and colourful and it's offering of collections of products that are super co-ordinated and seasonal is really unique. Origins Dragon Fruit Brightening SuperFruit Mask

If you're familiar with the original Origins Rose Clay mask then you will love this version. This is a new addition to Origins line of face masks and combines ingredients that skin loves. Aside from the gorgeous packaging, it boasts incredibly healing ingredients for the skin, including vitamin c and dragon fruit. It is described as 'a blend of exfoliating, polished walnut shell and radically refining tangerine, blackcurrant and lemon refresh and perfect the complexion for a radiant glow'. This is going straight in our cart, we're sold.
RMS Beauty Magic Luminizer and Lip2Cheek
RMS are the masters of making luminous and natural products. You'll find that most of their products come in pots and are cream formulas, made with the intention of multi-purpose. These two products do a beautiful job of achieving a glowy cheek. The Lip2Cheek Lis in the shade 'Paradise' and is a rich red toned coral. In our opinion a matching lip and cheek looks really cohesive and put together, we're all for it. The luminizer is a cult favourite in the beauty world. If you're looking for a blinding highlight, this isn't it, but much like the Glossier Haloscope its balm like texture is super glossy and gives off a natural glow.
