Podcasts are the epitome of modern media, we kind of think they are the best thing to happen to modern society. The perfect medium between music and reading, podcasts allow you to enjoy what feels like a productive consumption of media.

We love the fact that you can personalize the way that you listen to podcasts, from the way you stream the content to what genre you gravitate towards. Think of a subject and you can almost guarantee that there's a podcast dedicated to it; from wine enthusiast podcasts to a podcast exploring what cats think about, yes and yes. So plug in your headphones and zone out from work, this is our list of binge-worthy podcasts that should be on your listening radar.

Reply All The podcast is dedicated to the weird and wonderful thing we call the internet; exploring the modern world we live in and how to survive it. Covering topics from long-distance in the digital world to understanding bitcoins, the hosts PJ Vogt and Alex Goldman seek to share compelling and applicable stories. Don't mistake this as a podcast about technology for the digitally inclined, it is much more than that and is what we consider a mandatory podcast for millennial's navigating this crazy modern world.

Getting Curious with Jonathan Van Ness “You’re strong, you’re a Kelly Clarkson song, you got this,” - Our Lord and Saviour Jonathan Van Ness. If there is anyone who can give you the confidence to live your best life it is hair-blessed Jonathan Van Ness from the Queer Eye fab-five squad. We got way too excited when we found out that the part-time hairstylist full-time life guru hosted a podcast about things he is curious about. Explore the ever-inquisitive mind of Jonathan through his highly rated podcast, anything but predictable, he is bound to surprise you with his topics each week. His latest episode guest starred Reese Witherspoon, a duo we can get on board with.

Serial You can credit this investigative series as the podcast that popularized the streaming medium. If you haven't listened to podcasts before, Serial is a great place to start. Hosted by the talented Sarah Koenig, journalist and radio host, the first two seasons follow extraordinary cases that sparked major public interest at the time of the events. Koenig describes the podcast as being, "about the basics: love and death and justice and truth. All these big, big things." You can imagine our joy and surprise when during the writing of this article we found out that Season 3 had just been released. Season 3 is set to explore the American criminal justice system as a whole, a slight departure from the last two seasons but also relevant to the cases. A quick warning: the theme music is super catchy so be prepared to have it stuck in your head every day.

Still Processing The New York Times delivers brilliance in the form of Still Processing, hosted by writers Jenna Wortham and Wesley Morris. The series seeks to lead a cultural conversation about the US and beyond. The hosts put a huge amount of energy into the delivery of the topics, from pop culture to education, what's best is that it is digestible and extremely raw. The Atlantic named Still Processing one the 50 best podcasts of 2016, particularly mentioning their episode covering post-presidential 2016 US election. The 45-minute weekly podcast is ideal for your daily commute and daily consumption of cultural coherency.

My Favorite Murder This podcast is wickedly funny. The two hosts, comedians Georgia Hardstark and Karen Kilgariff, go back and forth discussing both infamous and little known murders and what they find so fascinating about them. You can go into full binge mode with this podcast, they have produced over 100 podcasts since 2016. The beautiful thing about the podcast is the casual, conversation style and how they are not about meticulous investigating, they mess up but they also have crazy amounts of knowledge on crime cases that took place throughout their lives. Be prepared to laugh out loud and feel anxiously intrigued, this podcast will have you looking at the world slightly more pessimistically. Dear Sugars

Any questions, no matter how deep or dark, can be answered by the hosts of Dear Sugars. After a four year run, the beloved podcast said goodbye to its loyal audience at the beginning of this month. Despite this, there are a fair few podcasts to binge. With guest hosts including the likes of doctors, writers, musicians and even a former presidential candidate, they seek to offer the most practical, informed advice and plenty of clarity.
