Nothing says Auckland culture in 2018 like a bottomless brunch on a Sunday. What's not to love about the concept of a gourmet food spread with an endless stream of mimosas or bellinis? You will likely find yourself having to book a whole month in advance to accommodate your foodie group due to the growing trend, but the effort is worth the end result. As seasoned pros when it comes to brunching, we are a fountain of knowledge when it comes to locating the best of the best bottomless brunch spots in Auckland; from busy eateries to lesser-known treasures.

The Lula Inn

Despite being a relative newbie on the Auckland eatery and bar scene, The Lula Inn has surely made it known that this is the place to be on the weekend for brunch. Arguably the spot that kicked off the bottomless brunch trend in Auckland; every weekend the waterfront restaurant and bar pops open the champagne for mimosas and blends up the bloody marys for their eager brunch-goers. We love the atmosphere here and would recommend it to anyone wanting to celebrate a special occasion or give the trend a try.

Teddy's

A major contender as the best bottomless brunch spot, the spread at Teddy's is truly gastronomical. If the quality of the food is just as important to you as the consumption of booze, we have to give this the number one spot. Teddy's opened its doors in Ponsonby earlier this year and is a delightful spot, breathing an air of sophistication. And that gastronomical food we talk about? They offer fresh fruit with honeycomb, acai bowls, croque madame, pork belly, smoked fish, mushrooms with brioche and a duck egg and a classic chicken caeser salad, all as part of their bottomless brunch package. Tom Tom Bar & Eatery

Every Sunday this popular bar and eatery on Drake Street hosts a bottomless brunch. A feast fit for a King (or Queen), they serve the breakfast classics; including pancakes, bagels, omelettes and to top it all off - you can choose from bottomless prosecco, peach bellini, screwdriver or soft drinks. Mr Toms

Each Saturday this local favourite in Ponsonby host a Bottomless lunch, between 12pm and 3pm. We love the concept of a more lowkey dining experience, the restaurant offers a three course menu accompanied by bottomless Soho wine and fresh mocktails. Special mention: Federal Delicatessen

If you're searching for somewhere a little less boozy for your Sunday brunch festivities, look no further than Auckland hot-spot Federal Deli. Instead of an endless stream of alcohol, they offer bottomless cold-brew with their breakfast and brunch menu - yes please! The caffeine fiend in us loves the idea of this. Taking inspiration from American breakfast diners bottomless coffee, Federal deli jumped on the cold-brew coffee trend, and coffee goes well with any dish, right?
